Karl started sea fishing from a young age with his dad along the county down coast catching mackerel and the bug of sea fishing. For at least 10 years he has been solely saltwater lure fishing for seatrout, pollock, coley and for the last few years bass has been a big target for him.
Rooney's Fishing Supplies adapted during 2020 to bring Karls hobby of making soft plastic lures for his own fishing to market.
These soft plastic lures have gained a great name for themselves over the last 3 years where they have now grown to be a staple in a lot of anglers lure boxes.
